I started in photography when I was given a brownie box camera at age 7. While landscapes, nature and travel photography are my favorite subjects, I also shoot sports, weddings and most other opportunities when they present themselves. I often assist my professional photographer daughter in her lifestyle photography business. I enjoy teaching others the digital photography process with my good friend and photographer Alan Hart. Together we offer digital photography workshops in California and Kauai. Please inquire about individual training or upcoming workshops through our Focus in Paradise Photography Workshops (focusinparadise.blogspot.com) Besides winning numerous awards, my work has been licensed for web sites, annual reports,...

Jenny many thanks for the information. It is always interesting to get the back story.

Amazing view, looks so romantic! Before I realized its a beautiful tradition to plant the roses in the beginning of the grapes row, but things are so practical actually - the roses have the same illnesses like grapes, but but incubation period for roses much less then grapes. So the roses are like indicator for the grape sickness.... :-) Anyway its a beautiful image, love it and faved!

I saw many vineyards with roses. I think it makes them special.

Wow, so beautiful. I haven't seen roses in a vineyard before!
