Description
Penny Ross was my grandfather and was the most popular cartoonist in the 1930s. He illustrated many books, from the early 1900s to the late 1930s. He had the most popular comic strip in America in Mama's Angel Child. He was the art director for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair and taught at the Art Institute of Chicago. One of the first people hired by Walt Disney, he later was a set designer for RKO studios. My sister and I have carefully restored the images digitally as close as possible to the originals. They were small in size so they are only available in a small print or greeting card. I hope you enjoy them as much as we have and still do. They are wonderful for decorating children's rooms of all ages.

Thank you Angela. I grew up with them and it has been a labor of love to digitally restore them. The originals were done 100 years ago..
